Free Birthday Giveaway - Day #3

"Rooster VIII"
Oil, 12" x 12" framed.
Available at Gale's restaurant.

Wow. What a week. I am having so much fun with my daily giveaway and everything else has been incredible. Sales have been simply amazing this week. And of course, the Lakers won! So my paintings are currently 13% off (as they beat the Celtics by 13 points last night!).
Today's giveaway is a free one-hour marketing consultation with ME (valued at $175). If you have been listening to my radio show, "Artists Helping Artists" you will know that I have tons of ideas and suggestions when it comes to selling art on-line. We can discuss new ideas for your website and blog, put together a plan to create marketing materials, get you signed up on facebook, what ever you want! This is your chance for free one-on-one marketing advice! So, post a comment on this blog post today and you will be entered in to the drawing which will take place tomorrow morning.
Congrats, by the way, to Dan who won the free 24" x 24" print of one of my paintings from Vistaprint. He had comment #3 on yesterday's post and that number was selected at random.org. Also, todays painting features Rooster VIII. I love the thick paint and bright colors. He will be in the show at Gale's Restaurant next week also.

boy--you are really strutting your stuff with this chicken series....just don't go losing your head...I mean....giving away all this stuff for your birthday. Did you not get the memo....you are supposed to get gifts for your birthday. Oh well, as long as you are delusional, go ahead and put my name in the hat for the drawing....

I have listened to you podcast one time, enjoyed it thoroughly. I really like your proactive approach to the art business and I really wish that more educational institutions had the same values. I am a degree holding artist and I only received the minimum in professional business training as it relates to fine art despite the expenses I paid. Your Idea for artists helping artists is great. I have spent a couple of years slacking off and not taking marketing my art seriously but you really have to. It doesn't sell itself any you have to get off you ass and work hard. I do a little bit of self promotion every day, and little by little it grows. I am focusing on wildlife art, so I would be happy to pass along any tips I learned and would love to gain any new insights into the business of that particular genre. Keep up the good work Leslie!
